Indications
Bolus-
- Round worm, Lung worm & Tape worm in Sheep, Goat, Calf, Cattle & Buffalo.
- Round worm in horse
- Round worm & tape worm in dog, cat.
- Poultry: Fenbendazole (Fenazol Vet) is used for the treatment of infestation caused by round worm such as Ascaridia galli, Heterakis gallinarum, Syngamus trachea etc.
- Cattle, Horse, Dogs: Fenbendazole (Fenazol Vet) is used for the treatment of infestation caused by round worm and tape worm.
Pharmacology
Fenbendazole is an anthelmintic belongings to benzimidazole-carbamate group. It works by interfering the energy metabolism. It is also effective against eggs of worms.
Dosage & Administration
Bolus-
- Sheep & goat: 1 bolus/animal (5 mg/kg body weight) as a single dose.
- Cattle & Horse: 7.5 mg/kg body weight as a single dose. Dog & Cat: 100 mg/Kg body weigh as a single dose.
- For use in drinking water.
- Poultry: 0.1 - 0.5 ml /kg body weight (20-100 mg/kg) as a single dose or 1 ml/200 kg body weight (1 mg/kg) daily for 5 days.
- Cattle: 1 ml/25 kg body weight as a single dose
- Horse: 1 ml/20-40 kg body weight as a single dose.
- Dogs: 1 ml/2 kg body weight as a single dose or 1 ml/10 kg body weight daily for 5 days. Or as directed by the Veterinary Physician.

Contraindications
Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to Fenbendazole.
Side Effects
No known side effects have been observed with Fenbendazole.
Pregnancy & Lactation
Fenbendazole may be used during pregnancy, lactation & lay. However, risk & necessity should be considered during administration in pregnant, lactating animals & lay.
Precautions & Warnings
Safety Margin: The Safety margin of Fenbendazole for poultry is 5 times & for cattle is 100 times of recommended dose.

Withdrawal Period:
- Poultry: Meat- 6 days, Egg- 0 (zero) day.
- Cattle: Meat- 14 days, Milk- 3 days.
Storage Conditions
Store in a cool and dry place, protected from light. Keep all medicines out of reach of children.
